BentiX Essential is a compact inspection ROV built for professionals who need to see underwater on a regular basis: hull checks, quay or breakwater condition, fish farming net inspection, object search. It dives to 30 m, streams live video over a tethered link and records on board.
Supplied complete — drone, controller, 30 m tether reel, chargers and carry bags. The universal mount under the chassis accepts the BentiX Light and BentiX Grip accessories, to be added whenever your missions call for them.

Safety & System Behaviour
- Disarmed on startup — motors inactive on startup and after every reconnection. You can handle the drone without a propeller starting up.
- Battery alert from 30% — you decide when to surface based on real data, not guesswork.
- Automatic fail-safe — if the tether is disconnected or cut: motors shut down, recording stops cleanly. Your files remain usable.
- Recovery via the umbilical — with no power or signal, the tether allows manual retrieval. The carabiner takes the strain, not the connector.

BentiX Essential is designed for organisations with a recurring need for underwater inspection but no dive team of their own: port and local authority technical departments, aquaculture operators, managers of hydraulic and maritime structures, engineering consultancies, independent inspection operators and marine sector SMEs.
It steps in ahead of a dive to scope the job, or in its place when a visual check is enough.

1-year commercial warranty (parts and labour), in addition to the applicable statutory warranties (statutory warranty of conformity, art. L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, and warranty against hidden defects, art. 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code). After-sales service based in France — spare parts available on request.
