Port Maintenance & Infrastructure Inspection

Hull inspection for vessels, quays, breakwaters, bridge piers and submerged structures. BentiX enables a preliminary visual assessment before any human intervention — reducing operational risks and costs.

Its 4 vectored thrusters maintain a stable heading and precise on-the-spot rotation, even in the presence of current: sharp footage in tight spaces, between piles or along a hull. Deployable single-handed from a quay or tender, in under a minute.

Environmental Inspection & Marine Monitoring

Monitoring of protected marine areas, environmental surveys, observation of sensitive ecosystems. BentiX records Full HD photos and video directly on board, ready to use in a report as they are, with no post-processing required.

Its 3 LEDs (300 lm) light up the inspection area in low-light conditions. In particle-laden water, the BentiX Light's red mode reduces backscatter and improves image clarity. For the most demanding missions, the BentiX Light accessory offers high-performance lighting across several spectral modes suited to the marine environment.

Aquaculture, Fish Farming & Marine Livestock

Monitoring of fish cages, net inspection, checks on submerged structures. BentiX fits naturally into the daily operations of aquaculture farms — deployable from the edge of a tank or a boat, with just a few minutes to get up to speed.

With around 3 hours of battery life, several cages can be checked in the same session, with no need to surface for a recharge. The 30 m tether defines the operating radius from the deployment point.

Defence & Port Security

Sensitive port area control, underwater threat assessment, inspection of critical infrastructure with no diver deployed. Stability in current and rapid deployment allow a threat assessment within minutes, where mobilising a dive team takes hours.

Local Authorities & Hydraulic Structures

Inspection of hydraulic structures, water intakes, pumping stations, dams and reservoirs. At €1,490 excl. VAT, BentiX sits well below the threshold for exemption from advertising and competitive tendering, raised to €60,000 excl. VAT for supplies as of 1 April 2026 (art. R2122-8 of the French Public Procurement Code). Purchase can therefore be made directly, on quotation, with no tendering procedure required.

Underwater Recovery & Manipulation

Thanks to the BentiX Grip 3-in-1 robotic gripper accessory, the drone can grasp, move and sample submerged objects, with no diver deployed. Three interchangeable jaws cover most scenarios: rigid objects, soft materials or sediment.

A robust, modular recovery solution, designed and assembled in France from corrosion-resistant POM and 316L stainless steel. 100 N grip force, 90° opening, jaw change in under a minute.

Low-Visibility Inspection

With up to 10,000 lumens, the BentiX Light pushes back the limits of what you can see. Available in several spectral modes — white, red, blue — it adapts to the environment and the needs of each mission: general inspection, reduced backscatter or marine fluorescence.

USB-C rechargeable, anodised aluminium body, 650 g: it mounts on the universal mount with no tools and offers about 10 hours of battery life depending on the mode.
